Off sick with a cold, what better way to recover than by singing a song?
A performance, requested by Futomi Hatano, of the tune by Bob Dylan with lyrics by Jeff Allen, suggested by Molly Holzschlag and inspired by Shelley Powers.

Wonderful! Brilliant! I LOVE this
I agree! This was just too much fun… Here’s a new verse for you…
Come Zeldman and Meyer
Malarkey and Mols
Let your songs of web standards
Ring in the halls.
And the lessons you teach
disseminate to one and all.
For the web that you now know
is not what you knew
For HTML 5 it is a changin’.
This should really be in a HTML5 video element! Transcode to Ogg with ffmpeg2theora and go wild, please!
Hi Silvia.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Unfortunately the blog’s HTML filter doesn’t allow the video element, hence the use of YouTube, but I’ve uploaded the video and audio files for people to play with.
I’ve managed to rework Subterranean Homesick Blues into a more subterranean Web Standards Blues
Good post article
